The Seed of the Kingdom
In this passage, Jesus Christ tells us how he can change our lives by using the metaphor of a seed. How is the gospel like a seed? 1) Because it has power; 2) Because of how it releases that power; 3) Because its weakness is the secret of its power.
This sermon was preached by Dr. Timothy Keller at Redeemer Presbyterian Church on March 12, 2006. Series: King's Cross: The Gospel of Mark, Part 1: The Coming of the King. Scripture: Mark 4:1-20.

We are just a soil that receives the seed, yet we often spend so much time worrying about it’s growth. When we accept, God makes is grow and our circumstances water and fertilize it. We really have little more to do than to accept.

Reminded me of a message, we may know how many seeds in a apple but only God knows how many apples in the seed. We do well to trust in Him not in what we think we know.
